Yes, teachers and students can see the scheduled lessons as per their time zones, simplifying the problem for teachers and students located in different time zones. They can go to "Settings" and select their "Time Zone".

Teachers can include the YouTube link of their introduction video to make it more attractive. They can also include relevant information about themselves like biography, skills, experience, and languages which also helps in making their profile outstanding.

Lessonspace is no longer available. Each teacher must add their own personal video conferencing link (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) in their dashboard, only the link is required.
This is necessary because without a link:
- You won’t be visible on the platform.
- Students won’t be able to book lessons with you.
- Lessons cannot be started through the platform if the link is not valid
- Payments to your wallet cannot be processed.

Students never see your personal videoconferencing link: they simply enter through the “Join Lesson” button in their confirmation email.

All lessons must be opened and taught through the platform:
1. At the scheduled time, go to your DASHBOARD → LESSONS section.
2. Click the CAMERA icon to access your classroom.
3. When the lesson is over, click “END LESSON” (red button).

ATTENTION: This last step is essential. The lesson is only recorded as completed (and your payment triggered) once you click “End Lesson.”

Student payments are fully centralized and automated — you don’t need to manage or discuss payments during lessons.

Students can pay via PayPal, Credit Card (Stripe), or Bank Transfer. Their payments go to our company account, and teachers can later withdraw funds from their wallet.

Make sure:
- Your correct payment details (bank account or PayPal link) are entered in your dashboard.
- You delete any payment information from your profile bio or lesson descriptions.
- You start and end the lesson through the platform for it being able to process the payment.

Buffer time defines how long before a lesson's start students can still make a booking.
Once the buffer time threshold is reached, the lesson can no longer be booked by students.

This feature prevents last‑minute reservations and helps teachers manage their time efficiently.

1. Private lessons
For private classes, you can set your own buffer time from your Dashboard → Account Settings → General → Lesson Booking Buffer Time

You can choose between:
- Immediate (0 h) — students can book right up until the lesson starts,
- 12 hours, or
- 24 hours before the lesson.

2. Group classes
For group classes, the buffer time is the same for all teachers and lessons.
At the moment, following a teacher vote, it is fixed at 6 hours, even though some students had requested a shorter period.

To allow students to join your lessons, you need to insert your personal video‑conferencing link (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) in your profile settings on TowerLingua.

When a student books a class:
- They receive a confirmation email containing a “Join Lesson” button.
- By clicking that button, they are automatically redirected to your video link.

N.B.: Students never see your personal video link — they always enter the lesson through the platform, keeping your connection private and secure.

Your Availability Calendar shows when students can book PRIVATE LESSONS with you.

ATTENTION:  Group classes are not created here — please go to the Group Classes section to see how to schedule those.

How to set your general availability:
1. Log in and go to your Dashboard → Availability Calendar.
2. At the top, you’ll see two tabs: General and Weekly.
- The General calendar defines your default, recurring availability.
- The Weekly calendar lets you make changes for specific weeks later on.
3. On the General calendar, start adding your available time slots.
Each small slot equals 15 minutes, so to create a standard 45‑minute private lesson, click on three consecutive slots starting on the hour.
- Example: click the slots at 10:00, 10:15 and 10:30 to make a 10 AM slot visible to students. Then click 12:00, 12:15 and 12:30 to create another 12 PM slot.
- Students will then see your availability as “10:00–10:45” and “12:00–12:45.”
4. Once you’ve added all your general availability slots, go to the top of the page and click the red “Save” button.

Tip for non‑fixed schedules:
If your weekly schedule changes often and you don’t want to keep a fixed timetable:
- Add just one slot (15 minutes) in the General calendar. This ensures your profile appears complete and bookable.
- Then manage your real availability from the Weekly calendar (see below).

How to adjust weekly availability:
1. At the top of the page, click the “Weekly” calendar.
2. Choose the week and day you want to update.
3. Add or remove 15‑minute slots as described above (three consecutive 15‑minute blocks = one 45‑minute lesson).
4. Always click “Save” after making any change — otherwise your updates won’t apply.

Once a lesson is marked as completed, your payment will appear in your Teacher Wallet within 2-3 days.

For each class, make sure to:
1. Click the CAMERA icon next to the student’s name to OPEN the lesson.
2. After finishing, click “End Lesson” within 30 minutes to confirm completion.

After the lesson is confirmed as completed, the payment will be processed automatically.
Please note that it can take 2–3 days for your earnings to be reflected in your wallet, since students have up to 48 hours after the class to submit a complaint.

The buffer time for all group classes on TowerLingua is currently set to 6 hours.
This means students can book or join a group class up to 6 hours before it starts, but not later than that.
After this 6‑hour window closes, new bookings are automatically blocked to ensure teachers have enough time to prepare and that classes run smoothly.

This setting was chosen collectively through a teacher vote, which helps balance flexibility for students with preparation time for teachers.

Discounts must follow the agreements made within your language group so that prices stay consistent across the platform.
When setting your entry fee, include the discounted total directly in the price.

* Example 1 – Group Package
If 5 group lessons at €10 each = €50, and your group applies a 5% discount:
➡ €50 − 5% = €47.50 entry fee

* Example 2 – Private Package
If 5 private lessons at €20 each = €100, with 5% discount:
➡ €100 − 5% = €95 entry fee

After filling out the main form, click “Save & Next.”
This will open additional forms where you can add translations of your package into other languages, if you wish.
Once everything is saved, your package will appear in your dashboard.
You can later edit or duplicate it to create similar packages more easily.

To create a new package:
1. Go to “Class Packages” in your dashboard.
2. Click “Add Package” (top‑right or center of the page).
3. Complete the form:
- In “Max learners,” choose “1” for private packages, or  “4 to 6” for group packages (depending on your language group’s policy).
- The time is set to 50min (like group class, but you can give 45min for individuals).
- In “Entry fee,” insert the total cost students will pay for the whole package (the system treats it as a single payment).
4. In “Title/Slug,” write a clear general title (e.g. “5 Italian Group Lessons – Intermediate Level”).
5. At the end of the form, list each lesson included:
- Fill in “Class Title 1,” then click “Add More” for Class Title 2, 3, etc.
- Set the corresponding dates and start times.

ATTENTION: Once a package is booked by a student, dates and times cannot be changed.
To avoid issues, schedule recurrent time slots or coordinate with known students before creating your package.

A group class is a single session open to several students (normally 4 to 6 people per class).
Students book and pay for each group class individually.

A class package, on the other hand, is a set of multiple lessons that students buy together in advance — often at a discounted price decided by your language group.

Packages can be:
- Private packages → max 1 learner, or
- Group packages → usually 4–6 learners.

To help fill your classes:
- Offer at least two classes per language and level per day to provide more options for students (so please, organize/coordinate with your fellow teachers).
- Use the Canva template shared in your language chat so our team can promote your classes on social media (it changes weekly with different days, but the link is still the same), admins check it regularly and then posts it on social media.
- Check the excel where students can requests lessons for specific time & level. (IMPORTANT: teachers CANNOT edit this, it is only for students, to see their preferred times / levels / teachers).
- Follow and share our social channels, FB & IG (@towerlingua), to improve visibility.
- Send in your ideas or content to support our community campaigns — every contribution helps! → just tag us on socials or upload it in our shared Drive.

We regularly share the Group Class Request Excel so that students can indicate their preferences and help us plan future group classes.

Important for teachers:
- This Excel is meant only for students to express their interests —
please do not write, edit, or schedule lessons in this file!
- Teachers will receive the collected data later, once Fede (or another TowerLingua admin) prepares the summaries based on all student requests.

-> How it works for students (for your awareness):
Students fill in their preferred day, time (CET/Berlin), level (A1–C1), and optionally the teacher’s name.
They are encouraged to add their request even if a slot already contains other requests — this helps us gauge total demand for each level and schedule new group classes accordingly.

If only one student attends a group class (and neither the student nor the teacher cancels in advance):
- The class still takes place.
- It is reduced to 30 minutes instead of the usual 50 minutes.
- The price remains the same as the group rate.

This ensures fairness in scheduling and payment while maintaining an opportunity for the student to still have their learning experience.

You can now easily create and duplicate group classes!
- Create a group class by clicking on “group class” on your dashboard and “add class” on the upper right corner. Fill out the form, upload a banner and save. If you'd like you can translate it to other languages. Once your group class is scheduled, you can add your presentation or other material using the button “attach lesson plan” or attach a quiz you created in your dashboard using “attach quiz”.
- To duplicate a group class go to one of your existing group classes and click the duplication icon; everything except the slug and lesson time will be copied.
- Students can now use the group class filter to find classes easily.

You can submit a withdrawal request when:
- your balance is at least €50, and
- at least 30 days have passed since your last withdrawal.

To withdraw:
1. Go to Dashboard → Withdraws.
2. Click the “Request Withdrawal” button (only visible if conditions above are met).
3. Choose Bank Transfer or PayPal as your payout method.
4. Wait for us to process and approve your request — once approved, the “pending” status will change to “approved.”

The 30-day withdrawal window is now mandatory because transfers are processed manually to keep operating costs low.
