My name is Alexandre, I am French-Luxembourgish originally from Ukraine. Languages are my passion: I speak eight languages and am a certified teacher in three of them—French, Spanish, and Russian. I love exploring how languages connect and this multilingual experience shapes my teaching approach.

I specialize in translanguaging methods that leverage your existing linguistic knowledge. Instead of starting at A1, I help learners begin closer to A2 by using cognates and similarities between the languages we share. I also build strong associations by linking a language being learned to other languages you already know.

I will try to teach you not just what to learn, but how to learn. I share the exact techniques I use myself — for example, how I progressed from A1 to B2 in Portuguese in six months and how you can accelerate your progress too.

My teaching style is interactive, enjoyable, and conversational — more like chatting with a friend rather than traditional studying. I love that online teaching lets me travel the world from home, discover new cultures, and constantly learn alongside my students. I am married and have 2 nice daughters and a baby-boy. Additionally, I have a passion for running and try to run one marathon per year.
